An information, signposting and support Help Desk covering topics including benefit applications, Blue Badge applications, home support, local tradespeople and services, carer support, support for people with long-term conditions like dementia and Parkinson’s, signposting for social care and healthcare.

Signposting for debt, energy, cold homes and legal issues and help with funeral arrangements and bereavement.

Benefits Clinics are held in Barnstaple, Ilfracombe and South Molton.

Home visits are arranged where needed, e.g. to complete benefit application forms.

Services are provided by staff and Age Concern volunteers.

Phone calls are free of charge, for home visits a mileage charge applies.

The Help Desk is open Monday – Friday 9.30am-1.30pm.
